Bangladeshi indie duo Dads in the Park made their Australian debut on Thursday, 7 August, performing at The Edinburgh Castle Hotel in Adelaide alongside local acts B-League and Mountains Below. After years of making a mark on stages across Asia, the band has now relocated to Australia, opening an exciting new chapter in their musical career.
“Getting to Australia has been a long and testing road for me, and this performance feels like the first breakthrough after five months here. Sharing our music with the world has always been our dream—this is just the beginning,” said guitarist and songwriter Tajwar Ul Islam.
For vocalist Ishmam Salim, who arrived in Australia only three weeks before the show, the moment was just as special.
“This already feels like a landmark in our journey. To be part of something so significant so soon after landing is surreal—new country, new crowd, but the same heart for our music,” he shared.

With their move, Dads in the Park say they are ready to dive into Australia’s vibrant live music circuit, eager to seize every opportunity the scene has to offer.
